Yoga Classes
Currently, I offer one class per week :
Wednesday evenings from 6pm until 7.15pm
at Worleston Village Hall, Nantwich, CW5 6DN
No booking required
Class is "drop-in", and pay as you go.
£6.00 per person, per week, payable "on the night", in cash or by bank transfer.
Car park gates are open from 5.45pm, and class starts at 6pm.
Please bring your own mat, if you have one. I do have a few mats available to borrow.
You will not need any other yoga props, but if you have blocks, straps etc, feel free to bring them.
It's nice to bring a blanket or a warm jumper for relaxation.
Class is mixed and "open", which means it is suitable for most levels, including beginners.
Class is a vinyasa/flow style yoga and should be accessible to most people but you will need a reasonable level of mobility (it's not chair yoga!) You do not need to flexible.
Class is not suitable if you are pregnant or have any major injuries or conditions but if in doubt, please consult your doctor before beginning a yoga practice.
Class will start at 6pm with a warm-up and will include asana (posture) practice, breathing exercises (pranayama) and relaxation.
My classes use a blend of yoga styles, mainly Hatha (traditional static postures), vinyasa (flow) and a pinch of Kundalini.
Through mindful work and attention, you will build strength, flexibility and balance.
Class music is varied, so you'll be listening to everything from classical to kirtan, new age, to ibiza chillout and everything in between.
